MISSION STATEMENT
It is the mission of WordOut to create a forum of education through
news, information and discussion of those issues affecting the erosion
and active destruction of our religious liberties and freedoms and
family values with hope of encouraging and inspiring individuals within
their churches, schools, work environments and communities to get
involved in helping to secure such freedoms for generations to come. In
addition, we seek to assist those who have had such liberties stripped
away or stifled by government action while simultaneously reaching out
to share the Good News of the saving gospel of Jesus Christ in
hopefully new and creative ways.
VISION STATEMENT
Professional Vision:
I[1] will[2] use[3] my God given[4] gifts[5], vocation[6] and passion[7] for searching[8], understanding[9] and applying[10] the Scriptures[11] to help secure the religious freedoms[12] and liberties of all believers [13] for our and future generations[14]
(e.g. secure our right to prayer, our right to read the Bible in public
schools, our right to openly practice our faith free from government
intervention, and our freedom to assemble prayerfully in groups &
Bible studies in homes, offices and school buildings throughout this
great nation of ours).
Personal Vision:
I
will seek to put other's needs ahead of mine and practice daily to have
a servant's heart. I will try to live my life by the teachings and
actions of Jesus Christ. I will continue the legacy of serving others
and God that my grandmother so awesomely and faithfully lived out. I
will seek to know the hearts of others by actively listening to their
words, expressions and tones. I will seek to deny my selfish needs and
desires and focus my attention on how I can help those less fortunate
than I. I will let God out of the proverbial box that I sometimes
place Him in and allow Him to control every aspect of my life without
limitation. I will dream without limits as I serve an infinitely wise,
loving and merciful God. I will strive to be the best person,
Christian, lawyer, father, husband, brother and son that I can be. I
will use my position of employment as a dock upon which I will fish for
men's souls as I believe I’m commanded to do. I will share the good
news of Jesus Christ with at least one person everyday, by word or by
action. I will seek daily to uncover my strengths (and develop them)
as well as my weaknesses and use them for God's glory. I will seek to
live each day with passion, love and faith so that I may become closer
to the Lord and more intimately involved in other's lives. I will seek
to find pure contentment in everything I do or in everything God allows
to come my way. I will seek to use my vocation, the law, to help those
who need my help. I will seek Him first in the kingdom of heaven.
I
will fear no one or nothing but God. I shall seek to conquer untruth
with truth, shine light onto darkness and be a city on a hill. I will
put no man before me, above me nor below me, as we are all awesome
created beings of God made in His own perfect image. I will help those
less fortunate without man's eye seeing my deeds. I will store my
treasures in heaven and rob no man on earth of his. I will claim the
good book's promises and put shoe leather under them daily. I will bow
my knee daily and offer praise and thanksgiving to my Lord & Savior
in humble adoration. I will test and question all teachings of men
against the truth and light of the Word. I will joyfully go the extra
mile and cheerfully give back what truly just belongs to Him. In
sufferings and tribulations, I will seek to rejoice and praise Him for
I know He is removing the chaff and purifying my heart, faith and
strength. I will teach my child, nieces & nephew the Word of the
Lord each day as I walk, talk and play with them. I will walk and talk
with them so they will have them to think about as they lay their head
upon their pillow at night. I will use the sword of the spirit to
combat and conquer temptation and will seek to cover myself each day
with the full armor of God. I will honor my mother and father and seek
never bow to any idol or graven image. I will love my neighbor and
hate evil.
